Join us for a Dudes in Development educational session focused on Tennessee Infrastructure Development Districts (IDDs) under REIDA law.
This session, “Funding Growth: Understanding Tennessee Infrastructure Development Districts,” will feature Pfil Hunt of Wrathell Hunt & Associates and will provide a practical overview of how IDDs can be used to finance public infrastructure and support development throughout Tennessee.
The discussion will break down how Infrastructure Development Districts are created, financed, and administered, including the special assessment structure used to repay bonds. Attendees will also learn what types of infrastructure may be financed through an IDD, how bond capacity is determined, and the reimbursement and draw models available to developers.
Attendees will gain insight into:
What Infrastructure Development Districts are and how they work under Tennessee’s REIDA law
Infrastructure and development costs that may be financed through an IDD
How special assessments and bond repayment are structured
The process for creating, financing, and administering an IDD
Reimbursement and draw bond models available to developers
